Plum Jam

This is one of our firm favourites because the plums are harvested from one of the oldest trees in our organic orchard. An Italian prune plum tree planted by the previous owners of the farm. |t was a small whip when we purchased our farm almost three decades ago - so tiny that Shannon nearly chopped the little seedling down with a weed-wacker.

This plum jam makes a scrumptious spread for tea-time treats. A thick dark rich fruity plum jam. The colour is a spectacular jewel colored red. One jar is never enough. The perfect jam to spread on toast or scones. Even better eaten straight out of the jar with a spoon!
