Erin, a lovely young lady who works on the farm, has blueberry bushes growing on her farm. She kindly brings us buckets full of freshly picked blueberries to make this jam.
Blueberries are sweet with a hint of acid. They also have a certain malty scent, which pairs well with English lavender. This jam is definitely extra special.
Blueberry Lavender jam is scrumptious on freshly baked scones at tea time. Delicious on toast, or added to plain yogurt.
