The Jaune Flamme tomato originated with Norbert Perreira of Helliner, France. This lovely heirloom salad slicer (2 inch) has persimmon orange skin and flesh. We highly recommend this variety! Jaune Flamme tomatoes always perform well on our farm, and is one of our best-tasting tomatoes, healthiest, and most productive producers.
The plants are incredibly productive and early maturing, and the flavour is amazing. The taste is very satisfying. Full-bodied with a hint of citrus. The bright orange fruits are plump, and very juicy.
Indeterminate: Should be staked, trellised, or caged, and pruned for best results; fruit ripens over an extended period.
