Vegetables
At Shamrock farm we grow a wide range of vegetables, from asparagus in the spring to Kalettes in the winter. We practice sustainable farming methods. We do not use pesticides or herbicides on our farm, and we do not grow GMO crops. We are dedicated to offering only top quality, clean food to our customers.
We enjoy working closely with local restaurants to provide them with our freshest vegetables every week. If you are interested in working with us please contact us!
Flowers
We have a lavender field and cut flower field where we grow numerous different flower varieties which are used in our own fresh farm bouquets, dried bouquets, and custom orders. We also offer floral arrangements for smaller special events but we do not do weddings; however we work closely with 5th Street Florist.
Farm Animals
The farm is home to many animals including goats, chickens, pigs, geese and our farm dogs; however, we are not a petting zoo. We have Nubian goats which we breed for goat’s milk for use in many of our products. Our flock of laying hens are free range and are a mixture of hybrid and heritage breeds which lay eggs in hues ranging from white to blueish-green to dark brown. Nothing goes to waste on the farm as all our unsellable vegetables are fed back to the animals. The manure is then used as fertilizer in our fields.
