Every farm tells a story...
Shamrock Farm is a very active family-operated farm established in 1993 by two young twenty something newlyweds, Shannon and Mike, with a big dream. A dream they weren’t sure they could afford, to raise a family on a working farm, to grow real food without the use of chemical pesticides and herbicides, to be able to pull food from their soil brush off the dirt and eat it. A dream to share the farm with families in their community who might not otherwise be able to experience life on a farm.
What began as a simple old fashioned pumpkin farm has grown to encompass so much more. From those humble beginnings we have grown, and we now specialize in growing lavender, garlic, heirloom apples, greenhouse starts, and heirloom pumpkins, as well as making natural goat milk soaps, for local customers and specialty stores throughout Vancouver Island. We continue to welcome visits to the farm during our designated harvest events. These events offer us a chance to share the farm with our community, to offer the public a chance to see an up-close view of our farm and animals, and to showcase our farm products allowing customers to buy directly from the farm. We truly believe in sharing this farm with our community.
We believe in sustainable farming practices, and in offering for sale, only those things that are either grown or made by us on our farm.

We make quality lavender products and pure goats milk soaps using natural ingredients at a scale that suits our situation. Everything is made on site, by hand, in very small batches. Our lavender essential oil is 100% pure unadulterated oil produced on the farm, extracted by steam distillation, with organic lavender grown in our fields to ensure top quality and consistency. We take pride in hand crafting our natural goats milk soaps using only the finest whole organic herbs, fruits and flowers grown in our fields; pure therapeutic grade essential oils; cold pressed oils and butters; and fresh milk from our goats, who are free to spend their days foraging the meadows and hedgerows on our farm.
