Shamrock Farm currently has two honey beehives. These hives are located at the edge of the lavender field.

Our honeybees help pollinate the apple, blackberry, strawberry and pumpkin flowers. They are extremely important workers on the farm.

The all-natural honey that our bees produce is used as an ingredient in two of our goat milk soaps. Both our Honey Cream Goat Milk Soap and Oats and Honey Goat Milk Soap are very popular. Honey is known for it’s humectant (a compound that attracts moisture to itself and helps retain the moisture) and antimicrobial qualities (used to treat minor burns and scrapes). Honey adds a sweet scent to our soap.

Occasionally we have extra Shamrock Farm Honey, which will be for sale directly from the farm in early October.

Please contact us in September for possible honey availability.
